Project Kit / Product preview

Sentiment AI Starter Kit

A planned guided starter kit based on my IMDb sentiment-analysis project, from model inference to a working interface.

  • DistilBERT
  • FastAPI
  • React

Explore the original project

This kit is in preparation. Explore the existing project and its documented scope below.

The problem

A model notebook alone does not explain how preprocessing, inference, API responses and the frontend fit together.

The approach

Package the existing project as a guided learning path with setup notes, an architecture walkthrough and deployment guidance.

Who it’s for

Python and JavaScript developers learning how to connect an NLP model to a usable web application.

How it works

  1. Set up the model and reproduce a sample prediction.
  2. Connect the inference endpoint to the review interface.
  3. Check input validation and deployment constraints.

Planned package

  • Planned annotated project walkthrough
  • Local setup and environment guide
  • Inference API and UI integration notes
  • Evaluation and deployment checklist

Proposed contents; the final package will be listed at launch.

Example output / Illustrative

A prediction with context.

REQUEST
“A thoughtful film with a great cast.”

RESPONSE SHAPE
{
  "label": "positive",
  "confidence": 0.97
}

Illustrative values, not a live prediction.
Confidence is not a guarantee of correctness.

A sample of the intended format, not a measured result or a screenshot of a released product.

Before you buy

Is this available now?

Not yet. This is a preview of a planned release. No payment is collected here.

Which tools will it support?

Planned for DistilBERT, FastAPI, React. Tested versions and setup instructions will be published with the release. Tool subscriptions, hosting and API usage are separate.

What about licensing and updates?

Planned usage covers personal and commercial projects, without redistribution or resale of the original package. Final license, release version and update policy will be published before checkout opens.

Is it right for a complete beginner?

You need basic Python, JavaScript and API knowledge. The existing project remains publicly available; this planned kit adds guided setup and documentation. It is not exclusive access to the public source code.
